Nivetha Pethuraj performs well as a honest cop. Amritha Aiyer and her portions are quite good. Malavika Sharma looks good in a meaty role. Ram tops the show with his energetic performance throughout the film. Outdated episodes, poor presentation makes the second half of RED fall flat.
The production values of RED are quite poor. RED lacks engaging narration and misses several logics. It doesn’t justify the plot or the lead characters of the film. On the whole, the first half of RED is neither impressive nor disappointing. The interval episodes are quite interesting and keep the audience guessing. The love story lacks freshness and is quite boring. The first song with Hebah Patel is a treat for masses. The first half of RED looks bland and uninteresting. Ram exhibits similar shades and is presented in the similar manner as Ismart Shankar. Ram seems to be in the complete hangover of his previous blockbuster film Ismart Shankar.

The rest of the story is all about who is the one behind the murder and how the mystery is solved. A murder leads to the discovery that both Aditya and Siddhartha look alike. While the former is a petty thief, the latter is a construction company owner. Main Story : Red is about two contrasting personalities Aditya and Siddhartha played by Ram.
